1/13/24 Beginning Rigid Heddle Weaving 10:00-3:00 $30.00
Learn to warp and weave to make a scarf on an affordable and portable loom.
All materials will be provided.
1/20/24 Spinning on a Wheel 9:00-12:00 $20.00
Ever wonder how yarn is made? This workshop will be a hands-on spinning
lesson on provided spinning wheels, or bring your own if you have one and
want to learn. Fiber will be provided.
2/3/24 Basketmaking 10:00-3:00 $35.00
Learn the basics of basketmaking by weaving your own unique basket.
Materials will be provided.
2/17/24 Rug Hooking 10:00-3:00 $35.00
Create one-of-a-kind small rug using both wool strips and yarn on cloth backing.
Materials will be provided.
3/16/24 Weaving to Felt 10:00-3:00 $35.00
Create a piece of unique fabric, woven on one side and felted on the other side
that can then be transformed into other objects. Materials will be provided.
3/30/24 Landscape Weaving 10:00-3:00 $40.00
Weave a scene of trees, creeks, and hills on a warped frame to create a
one-of-a-kind wall hanging Frames and needles will be provided.
Students will be instructed as to yarns to bring.
